Chiropractor: Tamzin Cole
Tamzin Cole, Doctor of Chiropractic, graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2012. She first became interested in Chiropractic when she saw how much it helped her parents. They’d shuffle into the office bent over in pain and walk out of the treatment room standing straight and feeling a lot better.
Since graduating, Tamzin has worked with many different patient groups including a local rugby team, pregnant women, children and the elderly. Tamzin finds it extremely rewarding being a chiropractor and especially loves how chiropractic finds and treats the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms. She undertook a postgraduate course in medical acupuncture and likes using these new skills in her treatment plans.
She is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.
Chiropractor: Andrew Smy
Andrew Smy was first introduced to Uttoxeter Chiropractic Clinic at the age of 16 in the process of work experience to gain experience of different healthcare environments. After the first day he decided that he would like to become a member of the chiropractic profession. Now he is newly graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and is excited to be able to return to work in the area in which he grew up.
Whilst continuing to develop as a Chiropractor Andrew has a wish to establish himself as a primary health care contact for the local community and surrounding institutes.
Andrew has a keen interest in exercise and nutrition and seeks to further enhance his education in this fascinating field. This will involve building links within the local sports community and surrounding gyms and partaking in further higher education in these areas.
